Dr. Bernard’s friend, investment advisor, and a Co-Executor of her estate.  Mr. Koplin joined Wertheim & Company in June 1966 immediately after graduation from Yale.  He was a Managing Director at Wertheim Schroder/Schroders PLC until April 2000 when the U.S. division was sold to Citicorp.  He joined Neuberger Berman LLC as a Managing Director and remains in that capacity to this date.

Among his other activities, Mr. Koplin served as a Trustee of The Episcopal School (NYC) from 1977 to 1981, various committees at the Collegiate School (NYC) from 1980 to 1994, Co-Chair with his wife, Sherry, of the Johns Hopkins Parents Association from 1994 to 1995, a member of the Board of Trustees of Central Synagogue (NYC) from 2003 to 2012, and The Beate Klarsfeld Foundation (Paris France).  He is active in alumni affairs at Yale University and is President of The American Ditchley Foundation.

Mr. Koplin married Sharon Amsterdam in 1969.  They have two sons, three granddaughters, and live in New York City.
